Hospital (la vena humorística del...) (part English, part Spanish, the pictures are in Esperanto).
The Tel Hashomer Hospital is the biggest in Israel and receives thousands of patients every day. The Tel Aviv Hospital (Ichilov hospital) is also more or less a small city. Not everything is dramatic, as seen in TV series. They are also jovial moments.
The pictures were taken during the last 4 years of Liora, my late wife, a time spend in hospitals were she was injected, operated, ventilated and all the rest of medical procedures that can make life a long torture. But not for Liora. She continued to do what she so deeply loved: care for others, work, politics... She dictated letters from her hospital bed in hospice 4 days before she passed away. And we, the family enjoyed her smile till the last hours. Now that 5 years have past, I try to remember just the good parts of all that. Life is difficult without Liora, but the new life she nurtured (Sharon, Uri, Daniela, Yonatan, Lior) grows and make the world a more agreeable place. Hanuka and Christmas will always be associated in my mind to Liora's last days.
The sad pictures I keep to myself.
A proposal like any other

- The family of a patient distributes Teddy bears to new patients in the Oncology Ward in memorian of their mother.
- You can get a hug from your Teddy bear and Liora did that every day.
you can see the city...
Or you can see the light (at the end of the corridor) or take the short way out to the exit (not recommended)
Pea soup, vegies soup, onion soup, tomato soup, and soup with soup and more soup in a Jewish Hospital in the middle of a Jewish city but no chicken soup? What a shame! Mother, come back, I want your soup!
Habla ingles español y hebreo. etrogcello@gmail.com
Maintenance with a child's boot hanging for good luck
